Unless someone is going to add some actual text about this, I'm inclined to think it should be deleted. Saforrest

The Claude Elwood Shannon article had a link to A Mathematical Theory of Communication; and Claude Elwood Shannon had red colored links to both his masters and ph.d. theses; A Symbolic Analysis of Relay and Switching Circuits and An Algebra for Theoretical Genetics. I just tried to follow the model of A Mathematical Theory of Communication. If there is a better way to link into these articles, then why doesn't A Mathematical Theory of Communication follow that model? I thought it was better to have some link to the actual article rather than the red links.

humm, Saforrest's comment is from 21:41, 6 October 2004 acording to the history, but I only created this mini-article-to-link-to-the-article July 2005! strange time warp in wikiland...

Shouldn't this be about his thesis? It seems that only one sentence mentions the thesis while the rest describes how it came to be written. Aside from that, it is almost a copy of the information in the main article. This needs a rewrite to address that. Gershwinrb 06:30, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Not only does this article fail to describe the content of Shannon's PhD thesis, it describes the content of his Master's thesis instead. Nathan B. Kitchen 16:02, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
