Improving moderation tools on mobile web - share your opinions!
[edit]The Moderator Tools team at the Wikimedia Foundation is working on improvements to the mobile web interface. In particular, we are exploring improvements to tools for content moderators, including patrollers and administrators.
If you edit from a mobile device, or would like to do so more, we want to hear from you so that we can prioritise work on the features which you need most!
Please share your opinions on our project page on MediaWiki. Samwalton9 (WMF) (talk) 10:34, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
Watchlist
[edit]At the time of writing this post, there is currently no way to access the watchlist on the Wikipedia app for iOS. The only way I can do so is opening my web browser on my phone and going on the Wikipedia website. I think it should be fixed as it’s a big annoyance to many users, including myself.

Is mobile version really mobile-friendly?
[edit]On my Android phone, the mobile version displays in such small text that I can't read it. When I rescale the page it has no effect. When I switch to the Desktop version, the text is bigger, and I can rescale it as much as I want. Am I missing something, or is the Desktop version really more mobile-friendly than the mobile version? Why create a "mobile" version which works less well on a mobile device than the Desktop version? Timothy Cooper (talk) 05:45, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
- You are probably missing something, because others have not reported such a thing. Just hard to say what exactly might be going wrong. —TheDJ (talk • contribs) 11:15, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
- Find in page is also broken on my foldable phone/tablet. There is no expand all feature... Mobile users shouldn't be forced into a crippled experience. Expand all should be default... It doesn't help at all if you have an index. Oldarney2 (talk) 19:27, 15 July 2023 (UTC)
#article-section-source-editor
[edit][1] Why is this happening? InfiniteNexus (talk) 02:01, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
- InfiniteNexus, did you find anything more on this? I found Phab:T347431 suggesting it is iPhone edits, and it seems section edit buttons are now standard on the mobile interface. CMD (talk) 02:31, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
- I did not, but I hope this issue is resolved soon. Otherwise, a post at VPT may be warranted. InfiniteNexus (talk) 04:47, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
- @InfiniteNexus and Chipmunkdavis:, if either of you have any follow-up information about this, could you add it to the appropriate line in section § Tags? (Ditto any of the other tags you might know more about.) Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 21:29, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
