I do not know anything about the subject, but it seems to me that it is not a NPOV. We don't even get primary info like where and when he was born, when did he die and why, what did he do politically,... We only get hearsay about the greatness of the lama.

Death

[edit]

If he was born in 1816 and died in 1837, how could he be 18/19? 70.21.141.44 (talk) 03:43, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good point - thanks for pointing it out. I have just fixed the problems by deleting the last part of the sentence which was unnecessary anyway. Cheers, John Hill (talk) 07:53, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Panchen Lama and urn

[edit]

Added bio info from RS Treasury of Lives, which has a clear account of the urn - not being used. The previous text saying the urn was used is in no way supported by the Treasury, and it didn't have a source. In good faith, I couldn't try and edit the old text to somehow work as a contrary history without reading its RS support. So. Thanks. Give a ping if necessary.
