What about John Register

[edit]

You know, the modern realist american painter? He deserves an entry in Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 168.243.218.7 (talkcontribs) 6 January 2006

Other people add redlinks to disambiguation pages, but I don't, especially for a human being because he would often be called "John Register" or "Mr. Register" rather than "Register". I'm not sure if he's well known enough, but if he is then I think he should have his own article first. Art LaPella 20:00, 6 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
He is well known mate, trust me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.124.119.88 (talkcontribs) 8 January 2006

This was resolved by linking to Register (surname), done for the first time on 2010-08-18. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 10:49, 23 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

This DAB currently has several dozen incoming links from article space, mostly via redirects. The largest proportion of these are links to Register (linguistics), which was a parenthetical disambiguation until it was redirected here on 22 January 2013. Most of the pages linking there probably should be changed to Register (sociolinguistics), but a few may need to go to Register (phonology). Any help in changing these and other incoming links to the proper destination would be appreciated. Cnilep (talk) 02:46, 23 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Quoting: "Wikipedia® is a registered", not the actual page title. 201.190.18.245 (talk) 03:03, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Sakura CarteletTalk 01:35, 6 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
