Just a few helpful comments
- medals and laurels going together, a redirect to Stan Laurels might have do the job.
- -dom is a synonym of -stan, and of -land in some ways. I don't understand why countries with those suffixes are not mentioned in the count.
- still no article about the Stan Union, that would justify the link with the EU count
- To my knowledge, 3 countries or states have -rica or -rico endings. Just a tip.

- Should it be something like this?: TheSE CEntral Asian COUNTRIES competeD separately at the 2004 Athens Olympics.
