Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?

Least healthy?

[edit]

Found this mention of Gadsden as the "least healthy" county in Fl, but not sure if WP:RS. Noting to check later. http://247wallst.com/special-report/2016/03/16/the-least-healthy-county-in-every-state/3/ JamesG5 (talk) 08:50, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that is legit, but not exactly correct. It appears a bit biased. Gadsden county is actually 5th on that list, however it doesn't appear to state what the county is doing to improve its status. It also makes some assumptions but doesn't mark any sources to back its assumptions. That makes it seem to be more of attacking Gadsden County rather than fairly evaluating the situation. I found an update here that may be less one sided.:https://floridapolitics.com/archives/234904-new-rankings-show-healthiest-least-healthy-counties-florida-st-johns-healthiest. It marks what was ranked and explains how Gadsden county and Union county were compared to its highest ranking county, St. John's county. This way it explains more clearly and is not as biased and doesn't make any unfair assumptions about the people in these counties. Also here's an explanation in this news article here:https://www.wtxl.com/news/local-news/poverty-housing-contribute-to-gadsden-county-being-one-of-least-healthiest-counties-in-florida It includes a response from officials in Gadsden county who explain that some of the recent damage from hurricane Michael in 2018 may be to blame for the county's low rankings. Thanks for finding this information. If you choose to post this article, please take these two pages into consideration as they balance the opinion a little better. If you can find more to contribute to Gadsden county, please do so. - Terricam (talk) 03:45, 26 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

None of the cited sources provide much, if anything, on what the rankings actually mean for Gadsden County. I don't recall seeing this kind of information in other articles about counties in Florida, and don't believe adding it would improve the article. - Donald Albury 11:57, 26 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
