This is the Jules Henry talk page. We're concerned that he's only put in the psychology category. He should also be in educational anthropology categories, though that would sound a bit to educated for me, so nevermind.

It's a long time since I read Pathways to Madness but I am surprised that it is largely ignored in current literature reviews concerning the evolution of Family Therapy. As I recall, this work was based on direct observation of families and the forces at work in precipitating the manifestation of psychiatric disorders. I would welcome any signposts to recent appraisal of Henry's work. Ta. Trishula 07:45, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That is right, Henry's work has been ignored during the last decades and it should be put into the front line. He did real ethnography getting into direct contact to people and his researchs contain some of the deepest and most relevant ingihgts about the destiny of our current civilization. Culture Agianst Man is a research book that should be reappaised not only in Human Sciencies faculties and universities but also in highschools in the USA and Hispanic America. 181.61.204.38 (talk) 07:44, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

My deepest gratitude to Jules Henry

Mister Henry, I appreciate all the insights you gave me when I discovered your book Culture Against Man, since then you changed the way I see this world. I promise I will create an article about you in Wikipedia in Spanish. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 181.61.204.38 (talk) 07:46, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
