The article says that only the Japanese version of this CD has the Godzilla figurine, however, I have the Canadian version of this album on CD and the cover has the Godzilla figurine as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ChrisErb (talkcontribs) 20:29, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I removed a piece of trivia which questioned the album's rating, whoever questioned it hasn't looked to carefully at some of Phi Life Cypher's additions

Name of the album

[edit]

G-Sides is actually incorrect. The album is named G Sides, without the hyphen. If you need a source for this, just look at the cover picture of the album in the article. The 2007 album is called D-Sides with a hyphen indeed, but this one is just named G Sides. (A further source would be the Japanese booklet included in some versions that says G Sides, too. The official Gorillaz fansite says G-Sides, but everyone makes mistakes...) 84.157.252.128 (talk) 11:18, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed with above. It seems like most websites have it as "G-Sides" with the hyphen, but the album itself never spelled it that way. If someone could explain how the hyphen became so widely used that would help clear this up. Otherwise I second the name change of the article to "G Sides" without the hyphen. --CBecker (talk) 16:54, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It could be just a simple mistake, as listed above. Another example is with Blink-182. The actually spelling is "Blink-182", with hyphen. It's more incorrectly spelt as "Blink 182" without hyphen on alot of websites. --138.130.159.213 (talk) 01:44, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The official website and official social media pages has always referred to this album as G-Sides. If the album cover doesn't have the hyphen is because that's how is stylized. Even the digital releases includes the hyphen. Smallfootisreal (talk) 03:37, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
So, I temporarily moved the article to "G-Sides (album)" because I am having technical troubles moving it to just "G-Sides" with redirect issues. I already requested a technical move, so it should probably be fixed in no time. ArojamDharkon (talk) 06:47, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Nice to see that a 12-year-old discussion was revived. Anyway, the move has been completed. ~ Aseleste (t, e | c, l) 08:41, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
