  • Assuming it's technically a SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast) What specific species? Probably many different variations. Whatever was present in the atmosphere and vinegar at the time? Gropo 21:24, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kombucha and MoV

[edit]

Is there any evidence to suggest that kombucha has Mother of Vinegar origins?

http://www.happyherbalist.com/pictures.htm claims that adding raw vinegar to kombucha will turn it into Mother of Vinegar. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SoManyWhales (talkcontribs) 16:19, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
