The article says Golomb became a full professor at USC in 1991, which can't be correct. He may have received a particular chair that year, or maybe the rank of distinguished professor or university professor, but he must have been made a full professor much earlier than this.

Per Stephen Wolfram's appreciation essay (http://blog.stephenwolfram.com/2016/05/solomon-golomb-19322016/), Golomb became a full professor at USC in 1963, and the Viterbi Professor of Communications in 1999. Dgorsline (talk) 14:26, 23 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
