If we are going to include this long poem, could we have a translation as well? Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 11:30, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am afraid that translations, 36 lines long, will violate copyright unless they are published under a copyleft license or CC-BY-SA license. Regards, TrangaBellam (talk) 12:17, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well, a Wikipedian could make a translation of their own, right? Perhaps not practically possible, but hypothetically. But failing that, how about a MOS:PLOTSOURCE summary of the content? Without anything in English, having the long text there seems just unnecessary. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 13:01, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

nationality

[edit]

I thought magtymguly was born in etrek derya which is located in Turkmenistan. Doesn't it make his nationality turkmen instead of Iran? 95.85.103.136 (talk) 10:22, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
