Ban 204.38.32.6

[edit]

You disciplined this anonymous user before for various offenses, but the lesson was apparently not learned. The Half Life article has been deleted by this user. Perhaps a longer block or ban is in order? ---Jackel 20:27, 7 Jan 2005 (UTC)

I blocked him for a week this time. Thue | talk 20:38, 7 Jan 2005 (UTC)

I noticed that you reverted some of my alleged "omissions" in this article. If you would read later in the article, there's a section called "Business" where there's mention the things you claim are omitted. Thanks and happy editing. --Jtalledo (talk) 00:40, 6 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Saw 2

[edit]

Please Refrain from adding unencyclopedic content to the article about the movie Saw II. Please if you're going to edit it discuss your reasons as to why on the talk page. Wikipedia should be a comunity for rational content and not content based on false statements. Please support your positon regarding this article on the talk page and let´s not get into a dumb edit war over something wich you very well know is wrong. Nnfolz 22:27, 5 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mediation

[edit]

Is this case still in need of mediation? --Fasten 12:37, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No.---Jackel 15:58, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Editing my user page

[edit]

Please do not edit my user page again in the future. Putting {{test2}} on my actual user page is something that I find very offensive.

If this was in response to the Stormbringer article, I have noted my concerns on its talk page.

Thank you. --Domsy 18:06, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Understood Domsey, my intention was to edit your talk page, it was an honest mistake, and I apologize. Furthermore, I only sought to tag your page after assuming you had been the original author of these remarks, restoring the removed info out of spite. I see that your intentions were in the right place, even if your actions were not, and apologize for being hasty in this regard.---Jackel 18:20, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the misunderstanding. I too thought you were doing this out of spite. I also apologise for being hasty - I should have checked the article's purpose before restoring the content that I knew to be genuine in its own regard. --Domsy 18:30, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

About the Article on Flea

[edit]

I believe that the information about that Flea being in The Chase (1994) in viable, especially, after this: Original addition of information on main Red Hot Chili Peppers article and this The revert of the information for this reason: "they're not appearing as the band, and it's not the whole band; put it on the pages for the members." - Bagel7 05:36, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That Flea was in "The Chase" is already mentioned in the acting section, does info about what he and Kiedis do this particular film really important in this article?---Jackel 14:11, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks!

[edit]

Whoa, did you just give me an Editor's Barnstar? Thanks a lot! :D I really appreciate it. - Fyrius 15:59, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ooooh, me too! Thank you very much. It's my first one! I'm glad that you liked the work on Xen. --Plumbago 22:00, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

3RR

[edit]

There was nothing.—Preceding unsigned comment added by TheTruth2 (talkcontribs)

There is ton of info not cited on that page.—Preceding unsigned comment added by TheTruth2 (talkcontribs)

That may be, but it just means the page should be improved, not by adding MORE unsourced info. And that has nothing to do with your 3RR violation. ---Jackel 22:13, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Then why don't you erase the other info then. I have clearly cited my info.TheTruth2 06:10, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It is inappropriate to ask other editors to edit or revert information you feel is questionable. Period. ---Jackel 14:49, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WNBA Rivalry Page

[edit]

Het I'm totally new to wikipedia, and I'm starting get a hang of the site. My first page ever was my WNBA rivalry section, im making a sub-section Eastern rivalry, western rivalry, and league-wide rivalry, i stared out first with the one for the East, any reason why deleating the page. Remember I'm new, so tell me what went wrong. I put the article back up on the WNBA page and I grammar checked it, so if im missing anything, would you mind editing it instead of deleating it? Thanks, and you can write your response here or on my talk page.

Thanks, A Wikipedeia legend to me now)

[edit]

Thanks a bunch, I think that wikipedia is a great site, and I jusr realized that it really is opinionated, and not really a good idea. I've been doing some other things, I'm really into the WNBA, just updating little staments about some players. Thanks for the help!

Thanks for uploading Image:59-7010.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Fair use rationale for Image:Beauty.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Beauty.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 00:18, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:59-7010.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:59-7010.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. FASTILYsock (TALK) 06:27, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your question

[edit]

Hi Jackel. Thanks for your question. Yes a few years ago trivia section came under discussion and the general consensus was that they were to be avoided. At first they were being removed summarily later guidelines were altered to adapt them into other forms. See WP:TRIVIA for the current guidelines. They tend to gather items of Original Research and Synthesis. For me they were one of the first reasons that I started using wikiP years ago and I liked finding interesting things in them. As with many things here at wikiP there are some editors that will remove them on sight and there are some that will defend them beyond usefulness. The Red Sun page doesn't get much traffic but I thought that renaming that section was the way to go. Thanks again for you improvements to that page and happy editing.
