Welcome!

Hello, Seinman, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

Also, just to let you know, A tag has been placed on your article David Pecaro, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why David Pecaro is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:David Pecaro. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. You might also want to read our general biography criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that admins should wait a while for you to assert his/her/their notability, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and then immediately add such an assertion. It is also a very good idea to add citations from reliable sources to ensure that your article will be verifiable. Thanks! -- Vary | Talk 03:57, 7 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I stepped on your editing of suicide. We basically made the same edit, but mine had some wikilinks in it, and I didn't notice yours until it was too late. -seinman 03:51, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What did I mess up exactly? The article seems to be ok on my side. Can you be more specific so I can investigate it. (I don't put the image back, since I don't want to break the layout again) -- lucasbfr talk 09:43, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, I looked at the diffs... I don't know what happened I was sure to be editing the current version... Perhaps I missclicked at one point. Sorry about that I will double check in the future (I still don't know how I could miss the "you are editing a previous version" message. Maybe I had both windows open and I saved the wrong one)... Sorry, and thanks a lot for spotting that! -- lucasbfr talk 09:53, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Adobe Premiere Pro 2.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Adobe Premiere Pro 2.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:48, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Bruisedcover.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bruisedcover.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 17:31, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The article The Fisticuffs has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NBAND. I can not find any non-blog reviews of their self-released albums, including this and except for this which isn't long enough to underpin notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:01, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
