Article created 2012-11-30 by User:Wikijem1287, and creating this article has been this account's only action on WP. The article then, and still now, is almost entirely referenced to some secret CIA "restricted report". (If this account were less than a year old, I'd put in the effort to track this person down, if only to hear the stories!) One section, Granma (newspaper), has outside sourcing, but that has a main article; one other outside source supports a single unremarkable fact about the Cuban Institute for Friendship Among People (ICAP) (that institute is probably notable for its own article, but there's none yet on es.wp). Finally, the diff from article creation to now indicates that no significant material was added and more importantly, no significant replacement sourcing was added. The reason it's not WP:TNT is that the article, as an abstract title, lacks RS to justify its own notability (I'm sure such RS exist, but then let whatever completely new article emerge organically from that research, instead of trying to refill the outline of a probable hoax.) @EpicAdventurer I don't see how Konate playing for Liefering would consist of GNG-worthy coverage of their season or any content on the season article that wouldn't instead belong on Konate's. The league doesnt even get regular match reports on [kicker.at] or [skysportaustria.at], theres just not enough coverage of the 2. Liga to get close to justifying club season articles at this level. This does not determine whether the article deserves to stay or not. If there are yellow cards and coverage like the statistics on SofaScore, it means that the league is as important as the Italian third division league or any lower league in a European country. I am still at a delete stance. Citation 1 is just a list of a whole bunch of temples. Citation 2 dedicates exactly seventeen words to the temple and just says its location. The legend of the temple is not going to help contribute to notability much. I don't know about citation four but it's a census which does not give me hope for the amount of SIGCOV it has. Citation 5 is just a list of temples, I have questions about the reliability of citations 6 and 7, and I don't know about citation 8. ‍Relativity ⚡️ 02:21, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: I did a WP:BEFORE on "Velappaya Shiva Temple" and "Velappaya Mahadevar Temple", but there are no hits on google books or scholars. I believe the temple may have had a different name in earlier times or it is known by another keyword. This could be improved if we can identify the correct term to search for. Keep. These are the lead characters in a highly popular and well-discussed series. A Google News search returns hundreds of results, including articles primarily about the character, e.g., the just-published "Why Blue Bloods Fans Can't Stand Danny Reagan", Kieran Fisher, Looper (September 9, 2024); "It's Time for 'Blue Bloods' to Give Danny a New Romance", Jenna Kaylor, Collider (April 20, 2024). In print media, see, e.g., Les Linz, "Lessons from Blue Bloods that we can learn", The Seymour Tribune (July 31, 2021), p. A4, primarily about the Danny Reagan character. - No questioning the notability of the series. Trivial mentions and characterizations in low-quality pop culture websites as your Google News search supplies does not indicate stand-alone notability outside of the context of the show. The character, despite being a lead, does not inherit notability from the show. I fail to see the encyclopedic value of the Looper article of recycled Reddit comments or the simple plot synopses found in the Collider article.   - If you're not sure how to address an article that ran in a print newspaper, then perhaps you should consider dropping it. Here's another source from near the very beginning of the series: "From New Kid to tough cop", David Hiltbrand, The Hackensack Record (November 11, 2011), p. G35.     - I only say that because it is a fluff article relating the character to biblical proverbs which does not seem encyclopedic, though it at least is relating the character to something outside of the show.       - The Hackensack article is about the actor being the portrayer of the character, even as early as 2011. There are also over a dozen Google Scholar returns for "Danny Reagan" "Blue Bloods", which indicate that there is also some degree of scholarly examination of the character, beyond the pop culture coverage. Statistics that lack context or explanation can reduce readability and may be confusing; accordingly, statistics should be placed in tables to enhance readability, and articles with statistics should include explanatory text providing context.

Comment The AI site StatMuse is cited almost 200 times on the page. Consensus at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard/Archive 400 § StatMuse and Wikipedia talk:WikiProject National Basketball Association § Statmuse is that the site is not reliable and the AI nature of the site amounts to WP:OR, as the editor enters queries to get results from a WP:PRIMARY source database. Comment After reviewing the page again, I went on to delete large chunks of trivial content that lacked merit and/or were unsubstantiated. All StatMuse references and any inferable content from sites such as ClutchPoints and Basketball Reference (database-searched content) have also been removed to retain credibility and avoid the violation of WP:NOTSTATS. Furthermore, franchise and college-based records have been tabulated to enhance readability. It is fair to say that the current version is far sleeker and concrete with credible citations (with the exception of a handful of records which I am in the process of finding the right sources for). As the page's latest version also shows, Curry has an extensive list of notable records and milestones. Incorporating them in one page seems like a more organised and logical approach to me. In addition, it is common knowledge that Curry, like Bryant and James, is generally considered an all-time great with a significant impact on the sport. However, the achievements pages of the latter-two (Bryant's and James') have a wide range of unverified content, particularly Bryant's, that still stand without any corrections being made. Keep Treating this on its individual merits and making no comparison with the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar discussion. On balance, this subject is a desirable and valid WP:SPINOFF; desirable because the corresponding section of the main Stephen Curry article is very long; and valid because I can find existing references which discuss his achievements and records in a standalone manner [2] [3]. Comment WP:NOTEVERYTHING is my biggest concern with this page:
Information should not be included solely because it is true or useful. An article should not be a complete presentation of all possible details, but a summary of accepted knowledge regarding its subject.
Then there is WP:NOTSTATS and the lack of commentary. Curry's impact on changing basketball by dominating as a smaller player with 3-point shooting is the bigger story. The slew of records feel secondary, and the niche ones that involves multiple conditions (e.g. "Oldest player in NBA history to average over 30 points per game through the first 10 games of a season") feel especially trivial. How many get historically mentioned years after the actual game? But with data and technology, these are available and oft-mentioned during and after a game. Beemer03 had been working to pare the cruft from the page. I think it will take some time to make the necessary editorial decisions on what should be on this page, and then decide if the remaining content is worthy of a standalone page.—Bagumba (talk) 04:22, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Keep - "mostly unnotable local politicians" is not defined, because most of them are still red links. Please see WP:REDLINKS. I think if you look through "Category:Lists of mayors of places in Georgia (U.S. state)" you will find the same un-sourced situation on all of them. And for that matter, it seems to be a trend for most mayoral lists. It's generally uncommon for mayors of smaller cities to be notable, per WP:NPOL which states that "Just being an elected local official, or an unelected candidate for political office, does not guarantee notability." Comment The list itself meets WP:LISTCRITERIA, the question is whether it should be a separate page or back in the city article. I view these pages as a valid page split (WP:SPLIT) as the content is verifiable, and could be included in the parent article, but because of the size of the content, does not always belong in the parent article. Redirect to List of radio stations in Missouri: the list not only includes all four full-power stations (which operates solely in Missouri), but even mentions the network name in each station's entry in that list. This is probably another artifact of the pre-2021 looser inclusion standards in this topic area — which is a problem when networks are apparently considered to fall under NCORP rather than the slightly-more-lenient (regarding sourcing quality) GNG. Keep. A professor emeritus at a large university with an OBE strikes me as notable; an OBE probably counts as "a well-known and significant award or honor" per WP:ANYBIO. I suspect there will be reviews of his books out there, which is important per WP:AUTHOR; here is one, for instance, and here is another. Admittedly, his web presence isn't big. This article's history contains slow-moving reversals of redirects by an anonymous editor. The text is copied word-by-word from the Howland Island, lacking context here and thus creating a WP:CFORK much worse than the original (note the "on the island" in the very first sentence without identification of the island). The anonymous comment match the actions in maturity ("Mommy I want to do color flags please?", [4]). IMHO the article should be replaced by a Redirect to Howland Island.
