Nope - it was November 11 since the Julian calendar was being used at that time.

Although this page states the first link as going live on November 21st, the Arpanet page states "The first ARPANET link was established on 29 October 1969, between the IMP at UCLA and the IMP at SRI.". Someone is wrong! --AlisonW 10:20, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I thought I should add the section about Robert Mugabe’s resignation as Zimbabwe’s president, as soon as possible.

Although I can appreciate it might have waited until things calmed down a little, I felt getting it onto the page would be a good thing.
