Can I suggest that if you are going to make a major move like Jamaica to Jamaica, the Nation it's a good iea to suggest it on the talk page and wait a day or so to see if someone disagrees. DJ Clayworth 21:06, 14 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

==New York City, and use of categories==

[edit]

Hi. Thanks for your recent edits to various New York City related articles. I've removed a bunch of the categories you added because they weren't necessary. The way categories work, if you add an article to a specific category, it's automatically added too all the more general categories which the specific one is part of. For example, Category:Queens, NYC is a subcategory of Category:New York City, so you don't have to add articles to both. See Wikipedia:Categorization for more info. Since you appear to be interested in NYC, you might want to take a look at Wikipedia:WikiProject New York City. Please join the project and help improve the coverage NYC gets in Wikipedia. --RoySmith 00:02, 19 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

PS, if you create an account, it'll make it easier for people to communicate with you. --RoySmith 00:27, 19 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to the page Integral has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Integral, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

The article Boulevard (Richmond, Virginia) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable city street that does not pass the WP:GNG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. "Jamaica, the Nation" listed at Redirects for discussion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the redirect Jamaica, the Nation should be deleted, kept, or retargeted. It will be discussed at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2020 March 23#Jamaica, the Nation until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 22:40, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
