I'm not sure why this talk page has been transwikied, but the definition in Wiktionary is totally wrong and I will fix it soon. In addition, this article is flawed as well and I will fix it now. Cor anglais 16 05:40, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

These have both been repaired, at least to an extent. Would appreciate a good image of a page of tablature (say, a Bruhns manuscript) and more specific information on the notation system... also the systems in the other countries. Cor anglais 16 07:35, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I've removed the transwiki notice from this page because the article is now an encyclopedic article. Not sure who to notify, or if it's necessary. Cor anglais 16 07:38, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"An early and perhaps seminal example of this is the organ tablature in the Buxheim Organ Book, compiled in Münich in the 1460's…"

I'm not quite sure what the relative pronoun this refers to in this sentence; I replaced it with the current revision in an attempt to make the sentence clearer regarding the sentence which precedes it. —Cor anglais 16 (Talk) 14:44, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I probably just meant a seminal example of organ tablature. Makemi 16:10, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I started this page long ago and it was about a paragraph long (I was just trying to get the ball rolling); it is wonderful to see that some people who know more than me have come a long way toward making it a real article. I agree with Cor, above, that we would benefit greatly if we could add a graphic that shows what it looks like and explains it for real. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ligulem (talkcontribs) 06:55, May 30, 2006
