Gaps

[edit]

This could be revisted after the Australian Terrier article is cleaned up; that will probably fill in some of the gaps. Quill 02:48, 2 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Date of Melbourne exhibition

[edit]

Just noticed a discrepancy; date of Aussie (broken-coated terrier) exhibition was given as 1868; here it's given as 1872. Some more research for me (or anyone else) to do. Quill 10:36, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)

NPOV

[edit]

A new section has been added by what appears to be a newbie, and it does not appear to comply with our neutral point of view policies. GO-PCHS-NJROTC (Messages) 20:19, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Since it has been many months without further discussion, and since the information was completely uncited, it has been removed.--Hafwyn (talk) 21:40, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

DMOZ/Open Directory Project

[edit]

Place club links, kennel links, rescue information links, and other breed-specific informative links on DMOZ at www.dmoz.org/Recreation/Pets/Dogs/Breeds/Toy_Group/Silky_Terrier/, not in the Wikipedia article "External links" section. Instructions for submitting links are on the DMOZ page.

Temperament section

[edit]

There is a proposal that Temperament sections in the dog breed articles be eliminated as they usually contain very similar vague and unreferenced platitudes. Please comment on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Dogs#Temperament sections.--Hafwyn (talk) 21:44, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment comment

[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Australian Silky Terrier/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

Needs significant expansion and better images. More references and citations will be needed, especially as the article is expanded. Needs links to breed clubs. --Pharaoh Hound (talk) 13:50, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
