Plot

[edit]

Why does the plot section not cover the entire plot? It sounds more like the back of the DVD box than an encyclopedia article. Please complete it! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.23.251.224 (talk) 04:17, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed this. Str1977 (talk) 16:45, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kevin Smith

[edit]

In the Kevin Smith Q&A DVD, he doesn't claim that the writers of There's Something... got the idea of the hair-gel scene from him, but he says that he and they both thought up the idea independently, and that 'great minds think alike' or something to that effect. Is there any actual evidence of Kevin claiming that the Mallrats deleted scene was actually the inspiration for the scene? --plattopus (talk) 18:41, Mar 7, 2005 (UTC)

Hair-gel pic

[edit]

Someone who doesn't know the film is going to be confused by the fact that the pic is captioned "hair-gel scene" but there's no mention of it in the text. No use having a pic with a caption only aimed at people who already know the movie. 81.158.1.233 (talk) 03:43, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't there be SOME mention of the only scene most people know?

[edit]

The infamous "hair-gel" scene is not mentioned anywhere in the plot description, reception, etc. Far from being a fan, I've never seen the movie, precisely because that one scene turned me off so badly. So the idea that it has been totally omitted from an encyclopedic presentation of the key details about the film seems strange and seems a way in which we fail our mission: to tell people the basics they need to know about each topic. What's the Rhode Island connexion?

[edit]

This article is categorized under the categories Category:Films set in Rhode Island and Category:Films shot in Rhode Island, but there's no mention of any of the plot occurring in Rhode Island, and the section Production only mentions the movie being filmed in Miami. I feel like there needs to be some sort of justification.Devinthepeng (talk) 02:06, 9 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Uncredited cast

[edit]

I notice that the Eunice character is not credited in this article, the editor can help to improve the page by taking some time to add these missing parts. Snoiled (talk) 16:22, 7 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Longer version not mentioned?

[edit]

When movie was released on DVD, it was about 10 minutes longer extended version. Shouldn't this fact be mentioned in article? --Adam Hauner (talk) 13:47, 16 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
