[edit]

Has anyone had a reaction to products treated with fire-retardent fluid, eg: furniture, carpets, bedding? Or suffered symptoms such as: irritation of the throat/nasal passages, sore tongue/lips with blisters, headaches, abnormal thirst following the aquirement of any of the above items?--213.78.169.213 20:23, 4 Jan 2005 (UTC)

I've been dealing with dozens of different FR materials for almost a decade and have never had any of the symptoms listed above. Scottanon 17:21, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

asbestos cement and paper... and concrete and brick

[edit]

I just removed cheese from the list of fire resistant building materials, but I notice paper is also on the list, and is rather unlikely.

But it seems the list is missing brick, concrete and tempered glass. Any good reason? 203.22.236.14 (talk) 10:13, 18 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

grass clippings? really? ok; maybe fresh ones will slow down a fire; but this is a list of building materials. Sources, anyone? -maxnort 173.49.233.207 (talk) 15:55, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
