Talk:List of Nigerian poets

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list is good but contains only a few of the great number of Nigerian poets. User:212.247.106.203

When Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Ohanyido has been decided then we might want to remove John Pepple Clark, Francis Okechukwu Ohanyido and Paula Iriowen Ohanyido if they are not notable. Thue | talk 17:41, 12 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Dead Links should not be on the page. If there is no article there should be no names. Please also add dates to the names

I have reinserted them. Red links (or dead links as you call them) are useful for Wikipedia development purposes. They give an indication of articles that have been written, and those that are yet to be written. See Wikipedia:Lists. --Ezeu 18:11, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cognitive writers

[edit]

I think we should encourage cognitive writing in Nigeria so as to bring cognizance to the people Majorwriting (talk) 11:10, 25 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Contemporary Poets

[edit]

Nigerian contemporary poets should be added to this list regardless of if they have a Wikipedia page or not. Most of them have adequate google visibility. Semilore O (talk) 18:38, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
