Budget Question

[edit]

I moved this here until someone could confirm or correct it (from the Government section):

"As of 2002, the county government had a budget of $ 2.125 billion, debt of $ 1.388 trillion, and 6,249 employees. THERE IS JUST NO WAY THE DEBT NUMBER IS POSSIBLE. SOMEBODY SOURCE THIS INFO, CLARIFY IT, OR REMOVE IT."

The 800 Broadway Building with the picture is the Juvenile Court. The main courthouse is across the street.

Orphaned references in Hamilton County, Ohio

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Hamilton County, Ohio's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "census-quickfacts":

  • From Dearborn County, Indiana: "Dearborn County QuickFacts". United States Census Bureau. Retrieved 2011-09-17.
  • From Franklin County, Indiana: "Franklin County QuickFacts". United States Census Bureau. Retrieved 2011-09-17.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 18:43, 22 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Persuaded"?

[edit]

"The United States persuaded most of the Shawnee and other Indian peoples to move to locations west of the Mississippi River in the 1820s." Hmm ... wonder just how that works. Milkunderwood (talk) 01:30, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
