According to the orbituary [1] the boating accident happened at the Kratha Taek reservoir. According to the base article from Wikinfo it was in Sai Yok. The problem is: there are no other references in the web to a Kratha Taek reservoir. As romanization of Thai names is a pain, there are often many different spellings for the same thing, it's of course possible that Kratha Taek is just an usual spelling. However, there are only two big reservoirs in the Kanchanaburi province - Khao Laem and Sri Nagarind are both unlikely to be spelled that way, and both are not in Sai Yok, but in other districts. andy 13:03, 22 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Finally I can find it - the Thai name is ห้วยกระทะแตก (Huai Kratha Taek), and with an average volume of 1.277 km³ it's a rather small reservoir, that's why it was impossible to find with english sources. It is located in Tambon Si Mongkhon in Amphoe Sai Yok. Though I still cannot find a map actually pointing the location at least the information is verified now. andy 11:19, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The place is called ห้วยกระทะทอง (Huai Kratha Thong) or ห้วยกระทะแตก (Huai Kratha Taek) or วังน้ำเขียว (Wang Nam Kiew), in ตำบลศรีมงคล (Tambon Si Mongkhon), it is somewhere in the upper-left of this [2] map. 2T (talk) 09:45, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
On Google Maps, it is displayed as "Huai Katha Taek". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.37.29.177 (talk) 18:53, 29 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
