Welcome Message

[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

You might find these pages useful:

The orange ribbon is a symbol of solidarity with the democratic movement in Ukraine.

You can always experiment in the sandbox.

If you like, you can introduce yourself at the new user log, or write something about yourself on your user page.

One more thing: if you leave a note on any kind of discussion page it's always helpful to sign your post with four tildes (~~~~), which is automatically converted to your username and the date and time. Don't do this in articles themselves though as they are not 'owned' by any particular contributor.

If you have any questions, see help, leave a question at the help desk, or feel free to drop me a line on my talk page.

Thanks again and happy editing!

Splitting Leopard 1 and 2

[edit]

Hi !

  • If you are splitting/moving articles please make sure you change the Redirects as well (What links here button on the left to look at the redirects)!!
  • If you are editing an article please use the Preview button or the article history will grow too much wasting the limited server space storing old revisions. On Top of the article you'll find an Edit-button as well if you plan to rewrite/update severals parts of an article -- Denniss 11:28, 2005 Apr 3 (UTC)

Are you still around?

[edit]

Muchenhaeser, I've noticed you've stopped editing entirely. I do hope that's only temporarily. I've always valued your contributions very much. Too few people have any interest in WWI tanks !

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
