The phrase "Bob's your uncle" was first recorded in 1937 and probably dates considerably farther back than that (see http://www.worldwidewords.org/qa/qa-bob1.htm). I doubt it's really a reference to the Hitchcock movie. If it is, and someone knows better than I do, please give a reference to support the statement. I recall a Bacardi rum advertisement used in Australia in the very early 1990's which featured 'Loose Fit'. This is based on a very clear memory i have however i am unable to verify this 101.170.85.85 (talk) 11:40, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
